24/7 Access

As a member of Alien Fitness, you will be issued with a 24/7 entry key tag. You must swipe this key tag at the front door of your facility to gain access.

Further instructions will be explained to you at the time of joining Alien Fitness.

As a member of Alien Fitness, you are not permitted to allow entry to any other persons during Unstaffed Hours. All Alien Fitness members own an entry key tag, therefore any persons found without an entry key tag should be deemed non-permitted until a member of staff is on shift. For your own safety and for the safety of others, please do not allow others to enter the building; this includes any claims that a person may have forgotten their entry key tag.

Yes. However, members can only bring guests to the gym by obtaining a guest pass from an Alien Fitness team member. Access to the facility for guests during Unstaffed Hours is strictly at the discretion of the Alien Fitness team. All guests are required to complete a Welcome Form and a Readiness For Exercise Questionnaire before using the gym, and they must be accompanied by a member at all times.

Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times whilst on premises during Unstaffed Hours and for ensuring that their guests comply with the rules and conditions of their membership.

Absolutely! Our facility is monitored by 24/7 video surveillance and emergency alert necklaces are provided for the safety of our members and guests. These emergency alert necklaces must be worn at all times whilst training at Alien Fitness during Unstaffed Hours. If you ever require emergency assistance in this time, press the Panic Button situated at several locations within the Alien Fitness facility.

Further instructions will be explained to you at the time of joining Alien Fitness.

At the club there are Panic Buttons located on the gym floor and in each of the bathrooms. When pressed, this will notify our security company who will make immediate contact with you via the emergency phone. If you cannot answer the phone, our security company will subsequently dispatch emergency services to the gym.

Further instructions will be explained to you at the time of joining Alien Fitness.

If an alarm sounds outside of Staffed Hours it can be deactivated by swiping your key tag on the entry pad outside the front door.

Everyone is different and each class’ program offers something different to the next. We advise you to give all Group Training classes a try to find out which ones you enjoy the most. Our fitness team will also be available to advise you of the right classes to help meet your fitness needs during your initial consultation and can plan your classes to compliment your gym training for you. If you want to try a class for the first time, just let the instructor know so they may help you make your experience a pleasant one.

For example, if one of our members wanted to work on flexibility and core strength, we would recommend a Yoga class. If they wanted fat burning and toning, it could be BODYPUMP®. But remember, everybody is different, which is why Alien Fitness is a great choice for you as there are so many options available to you with nearly 25 classes per week for you to choose from!

Please wear suitable footwear for exercise and wear light, comfortable clothing. Also bring a drink bottle and a towel with you.

For a class such as Yoga, members often prefer to use their own mats. For a class such as Boxing, it is recommended to bring your own gloves and pads. However, this is not essential as we do have equipment available for your use.

You should get involved in Group Training as soon as you start your fitness journey. All classes can be adapted to suit your individual needs and you will get fitter faster by incorporating Group Training into your Program. We also run a SmartStart program, which gives you the option to do as much of a class as you feel comfortable with within the first few weeks, allowing you to build your strength and fitness gradually without over training in the crucial first few weeks of exercise.

We understand that not everyone can manage Group Training classes as they may have other commitments that take up your time. This is why we also offer Small Group Personal Training sessions that can be arranged outside of our normal class times. These sessions are tailored to your specific needs and goals and are very results driven.

There is an additional fee for this service and it can be delivered by a qualified Personal Trainer and arranged to suit your busy schedule. Feel free to contact us if you would like to enquire about Small Group Personal Training.

Gym Use

Absolutely! Your membership entitles you to an orientation with a basic program to get your started. We will book this when you join.

Absolutely! You are more than welcome to use our Studio outside of class times if you’d like to exercise away from the main gym floor.

Please feel free to move any benches and/or free weights you may need for your workout, however it is a requirement that you must return any equipment to where it belongs once you are finished with it. When moving equipment throughout the gym, please be mindful of other gym users and walkways.

It is recommended that you bring your own drink bottle and a towel with you whenever you use the gym. In an effort to make the gyms as clean and safe as possible, we have implemented a “no towel, no training” policy.

We do not stock bottled water or other drinks at our club. However, a water cooler is located at the club where you can freely fill up your own drink bottle.
